i360 is proud to release the third generation of our industry leading Political Action Management Software, the i360 Portal – 3.0. We have rebuilt our infrastructure from the ground up, bringing our customers new functionality and design as well as the scalability and security necessary for the 2016 cycle and beyond.

The new interface was designed with our customers in mind, ensuring the platform is as user-friendly as possible – enabling you to accomplish more in less time.

So what changed?

Customization

Because we know every user is unique and needs different things, we focused on making the entire user experience customizable. On the homepage, for instance, users may now choose to view recent searches, snapshot reports, or canvassing activity for their own volunteers or for all the volunteers within their organization. And, with customizable homepage quick links you can jump to your most used tools with one click.

Reporting

The canvassing report’s design and functionality have been significantly enhanced to give users a better picture of how their organization’s field work is progressing throughout the campaign. From more intuitive icons to partially surveyed household tracking, we gave the entire experience a facelift. We even included an Enhanced View (similar to Google Maps) where the map will zoom in and encompass the screen.

Volunteer Management

Volunteer management is now easier than ever, allowing you to set active or inactive statuses or email your volunteers directly from the interface. Looking to grow your volunteer base? Just search prospective volunteers by geography or tags and add them to a prospect list. And, a volunteer history section has been added to track engagement made through the Field Portal and Volunteer Management tools.

Infrastructure

Aside from upgraded design and usability, it’s what’s behind the scenes that is perhaps the most impressive and important update to Portal 3.0. This includes a completely redesigned application layer allowing for rapid app building and feature enhancement enabling us to make additional improvements and accommodate requests faster than ever before.

Additionally, at i360 we view scalability and security as fundamental components of all of our products – including our Portal. In fact, to ensure it can meet your needs, we have upgraded the infrastructure of Portal 3.0 to allow for 100x the peak usage observed by our systems to date.
