The ideal candidate is someone who has technical experience leveraging data and technology to optimize commercial or political operations and to create new capabilities. The Data Scientist is primarily responsible for developing models and related tools that create value for our customers.

Our Team

The People Data Science team helps our political clients, external commercial clients, and partners within Koch, Inc. achieve their precision advertising and marketing goals.  We leverage our nationwide database, which includes individual-level demographic and behavioral data, to analyze challenges and deliver solutions with market-leading accuracy.

What You Will Do

  • Train binary classification and regression models to create audiences for ad targeting.
  • Quantify predictive model accuracy over baseline for specific subsets of people.
  • Quantify the potential value of new data sets for future models.
  • Analyze client questions and explain the answers to non-technical team members.
  • Devise and implement automated approaches to manual processes in collaboration with the Data Operations Team and Application Development Team.
  • Detect anomalies in expected modeled outputs, communicate across teams to identify root causes, and push fixes to production.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Those with a non-technical degree but extensive technical experience is also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience training and evaluating binary classification models and/or regression models in a professional setting.
  • Experience writing SQL and Python, R, or similar scripting language for data analysis in a professional setting.
  • Experience translating ambiguous challenges into technical solutions.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Those with a non-technical advanced degree but extensive technical experience is also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with git, containers, and command line basics.
  • Experience automating data processes.
  • Experience integrating artificial intelligence solutions to marketing data processes or products.
  • Experience in marketing, consumer behavior analytics, and digital targeting strategies.
  • Experience with survey data, voter files, and customer data.

For this role, we anticipate paying $110,000 – $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

What You Will Do

  • Work collaboratively with product managers, technical leads, and teammates to build, test, and deploy high-performing web applications, APIs, and message handlers according to industry, departmental, and team standards within agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Participate actively in Scrum activities, including backlog grooming, retrospective, and commitment sessions, and daily stand-up meetings.
  • Serve as a peer reviewer for work submitted by team colleagues.
  • Advance team and departmental productivity through knowledge sharing at sprint demos and brown bag sessions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience developing ASP.NET Core applications using C#.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular.

Senior Media Planner

Your Job

i360 is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Media Planner to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital media campaigns across both political and commercial clients. In this role, you’ll manage full-funnel campaigns across programmatic, video, and social platforms. You’ll analyze performance using platform data, internal insights, and reporting and measurement tools to deliver clear and actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a sharp analytical mindset, and a passion for staying on top of the latest digital media trends and tech stacks.

Our Team

The Media team delivers and supports data driven digital advertising campaigns that maximize client success by leveraging advanced targeting, analytics, and measurement. We provide premium media targeting to political and commercial organizations through strong relationships with clients, agencies, and ad-tech platforms.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and lead the strategy, targeting, execution, and performance measurement of digital media campaigns for both political and commercial clients
  • Manage and optimize large-scale paid media campaigns across display, video, OTT/CTV, and search channels using a variety of ad tech platforms and ad servers like The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, DCM, Google, Meta, etc.
  • Oversee full-funnel campaign tracking and conduct A/B testing to optimize performance
  • Analyze campaign performance through data from ad platforms, internal insights, and reporting and measurement tools
  • Stay up to date with evolving digital media trends, tools, and technologies by developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with media vendors
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through well-crafted writing, presentations, and attention to detail
  • Collaborate closely with the Media team to ensure accurate campaign execution, including UTM tagging and naming conventions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Hands-on experience with ad servers, DSPs, and social buying platforms such as DCM, The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, Meta Ads Manager, etc.
  • Third-party reporting and measurement tools experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex digital campaigns with varied KPIs across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing client accounts and relationships
  • Strong ability to assess, prioritize, and manage workload efficiently
  • Adaptable and comfortable handling evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through well-crafted writing, presentations, and exceptional attention to detail

  • Background in developing digital media strategies for political, advocacy, or issue-based campaigns
